Screen shot of a Google double listing.
Today at our SBI meeting, Rick showed a few of his Google listings which happened to be double listings, where a second page is featured on the SERP (Search Engine Ranking Page) just under the first result from the same site.
If you are wondering what the heck I am talking about, I have included one of my own here to show you what they look like. Up until now, I had no idea what the heck caused this, but I figured it was good— you have “real estate” on the search return page that looks a little different, a little more important.
These are great to have and generally get clicked on much more frequently because they stand out as being more important to the visitor (therefore bringing more traffic to your site).
One of my forum buddies just linked this video about this very same topic. It is a bit complicated, but if you take notes and pay attention (pause, rewind, replay!) you will get how it works.
I paused it a lot, but I think I can replicate it now after watching some parts of the video a few times.
Check out the video- very informative. Some of my friends who make the big bucks swear by Stompernet and the site does have free videos you can watch, so check out the Stompernet site too for more info.
For now, here is the Stompernet video about how to get a Google double listing. Andy Jenkins is a bit on the corny side in this, but hey- I’ll take his traffic and financial success any day of the week!!:
