How Much Should I Do Behind The Scenes?

by admin on March 22, 2009

As you can see I’ve changed the Theme. I did this mostly so I could experiment with the options that a sophisticated Theme offered.

But as I was fiddling I began to wonder if this is something we should do in our Sunday meeting. Should we all be learning this kind of thing together or should I take the bull by the horns and start moving this site forward?

What does everyone think?

Now I do need to do some of this just so I can learn. That way I can stumble in private and not use our meeting times on Sundays trying to figure things out. So it’s a bit complicated to decide.

Help…

Rick

I don’t see a problem with you making changes on your own Rick. Like you said, we can always go over the “how” part when we meet. Or, you can add a post on the “how” part too.

I like this theme so far. I have seen it before, one of the affiliate’s I belong to use it.

I like this theme too- very professional looking.

I agree with Larry. I think if you are going to teach us, you need to have the option of trying things first. I think it would be awesome at the meeting though to go through it as a group- searching for another theme, and adding it to the site to see how it looks and how everything changes. Once we do it together, we can decide whether to take the one we tried, keep the one you found her or keep looking for a new one.

I think it is great that you experiment and learn so much! You are such a great teacher, we will learn more when you know more. Thanks for giving so much! Tracie
