Learning To Build A Website – I’m Ready!

by Amy from www.Passion-of-Bavaria.com on April 7, 2009

Hello to everyone participating in the Website Building Workshop!

As I begin my new endeavor in to the world of website design, I feel fortunate that I have found a wonderful group of like-minded people who share my passion for learning new things and sharing ideas.

After months of searching for a way to teach myself how to build an effective (and profitable) website, SBI! is without a doubt, the most comprehensive and user friendly website building system. Not only does SBI! teach the right way to build a website business, but I believe it is the quality people and the friendly “pay it forward” attitude of other SBI!’ers that make it such a valuable resource.

Thank you, Rick and the others at the Tampa Bay SBI group for the bi-weekly meetings and for putting this website together.  Lori, your helpful input and instructional videos are awesome!

This is my first post, really just to say “Hi” and to get my feet wet, so to speak. At this point, I have lots of questions and no answers.  But I do hope to be able to contribute more as I learn.  And… the best way to learn is to Do!

Great to hear from you Amy.

Amy didn’t mention that she is moving away from Blockbuilder to uploading her own HTML using a 3-column template. She’s taken the plunge into the deep end and hopefully she’ll be sharing her experiences. And those of us who have been in the same place will be trying to help her.

Way to go Amy!

Welcome Amy, You have an interesting site going. My Grandfather came to the U.S. from Bavaria so I have a personal interest as well. (Plus one of my favorite places to eat at Disney World is the Biergarten Restaurant at Epcot). Be sure and ask away if you have any questions, there are plenty of people to help as you are finding out.
