Okay, maybe I’m the only one who wasn’t sure how to do this, but here is how anyway:
When you register (or you can go to your profile in the left side of the page when logged in to your dashboard), your user name will already be filled from when you registered. The nickname will have your user name pre-filled in also. You can change this to your name/user name @ your website name if you want, so that everyone will know who you are (or just put in any nickname if you want to be a stranger).
I think using your website name will help everyone communicate easier to each other, and hey, who doesn’t want a little extra free publicity?
Make sure you fill out the “Website” section with your website url. This will make your user name that appears when you post a comment, a live link to your website. (I noticed someone hasn’t done this yet….I won’t mention any names Rick and Gerri).
Once you have finished filling out any info you want in your profile, be sure to click the “Update Profile” button at the bottom of the page.
After you click “Update Profile” you can go back to your Profile once more and choose your new nickname to display if you haven’t done so already.
Okay now that everyone knows how to do this, jump on in, register and start adding posts and comments so you can get some backlinks to your website……
