At our meeting today, I was concerned about mixing my business and internet marketing contacts with my friends on my already-established Facebook account. In case anyone else is interested, I will share the info here.
The Thirty Day Challenge video makes it pretty clear- you can only have one Facebook profile and it should be for your real-life friends. I will put my colleagues and business friends in Facebook as friends, but don’t want to have people in there that I don’t know fairly well.
Looks like there is a way to create a “fan page” for our businesses, so that sounds like the way to go to keep the two areas a bit more separate.
There are also categories that you can assign to the friends you do add to your Facebook account. You can then sort by different groups- family, friends, work colleagues, etc. That seems helpful to me!

Thanks Lori that’s very helpful to know. And it makes sense to use the “fan page” as a way to promote yourself (a little).
